On August 6, 2019, Texarkana Sunrise Rotary Club partnered with United Way of Texarkana and other businesses and non profits in Texarkana to buy school supplies and pack backpacks for youth in Texarkana that needs assistance in purchasing school supplies. The Stuff the Bus project is an Annual Project that the Sunrise Rotarians enjoy participating. The local school-supply drive surpasses last year's goal. The goal of 1800 backpacks was reached that was an increase from the 1700 backpacks given away last year.
