Texarkana Sunrise Rotarians educated the community on Rotary's effort to Eradicate Polio.  Sunrise Rotary's President Landon Forbes is not pictured; however, organized the set up our booth and worked his shift to show support to the Annual Caddo Area Council Scout-O-Rama that was held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Spring Lake Park.

Nash Elementary's Sharpen the Saw Movie Night, Thursday, April 28, 2022. We were proud to serve alongside the folks from State Bank and all of the wonderful staff and leaders at TISD-Nash Elementary. What a fun night! Great job to Ms. Luna and her team for pulling off an incredible community event!
The Four Texarkana Rotary Clubs jointly supported a project together by applying and receiving a $10,000.00 grant from “Save the Children”.   An additional $1,000.00 was donated by the Clubs. The donation was made to Texarkana Literacy Council.

Leigh Davis, Secretary of Oaklawn Rotary Club took the initiative to complete the necessary grant documentation along with interviews gathering the necessary information to qualify for the grant.
Stuff The Bus "Nash Elementary School" 
Texarkana Sunrise Rotary Club makes $750.00 Contribution to United Way of Greater Texarkana for the benefit of the Stuff the Bus Program.    United Way was able to donate backpacks with school supplies to Nash Elementary School this year.    
Texarkana's Four Rotary Clubs Spring Lake Park Splash Pad!

We celebrated 10 years of continuous improvements to the Rotary Splash Pad this morning with the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce!
Thank you to all the Texarkana Area Rotary clubs and business sponsors that helped to make this project a reality. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the new shade ports, fencing and other amenities that make this a cool place to hang out!
Texarkana Sunrise Rotary Club partners with 50KSoulsTexas and East Texas Food Bank to pack and distribute food boxes. 
Texarkana Sunrise Rotary Club Rotarians personally buys Nash Elementary Kindergarteners coats, clothes and toys to make sure they had a Merry Christmas.  The Club funds food baskets for the same families.  Thanks to Becky Bunch, Project Chair along with Jennifer Studdard, Laura Jacobs and Doug Bowers for all their hard work organizing the delivery of the food baskets and gifts.
